Antonio T. Dixon, Sr., DMin

Dr. Antonio T. Dixon, Sr. was born on October 8, 1980 in the city of Eldorado, AR and raised in Strong, AR by his grandparents Sammie and Gussie Greer. He is the son of Jacklen D. Greer of Grambling, LA.

He attended high school at Strong High School and graduated Salutatorian of his class. He was also the captain of his high school basketball team and won several awards in athletics. He accepted his call into the gospel ministry in October 1996 at the age of 16. Pastor Dixon was ordained into the gospel ministry on July 13, 2008 at the Queen Esther Missionary Baptist Church under the leadership of Pastor Samuel Greer, Jr. After high school Pastor Dixon attended the University of Arkansas at Fayetteville. During his time there he became a member of the "Kaptivating" Kappa Kappa Chapter of Alpha Phi Alpha Fraternity, Inc. He graduated with a Bachelor of Science in Education in May of 2003. He then received his Master of Education in 2005. He received his Master of Divinity from Liberty University in May 2019 and finished his doctoral work in Expository Preaching at Liberty University's John W. Rawlings School of Divinity in October 2021.

In November of 2011, Pastor Dixon became the 2nd Pastor in the history of the Steeple Chase Baptist Church in Shreveport, LA. He also serves as CEO of Steeple of Success, a non-profit organization committed to servicing the community through education and a monthly food pantry.
Before coming to Steeple, Pastor Dixon was a teacher at Elkins High School in Elkins, AR. He served as the Assistant Head Basketball Coach for the varsity boys basketball team. He has served as Senior Pastor of the Macedonia #2 Missionary Baptist Church in Choudrant, LA. During his time in Michigan, he served as the Assistant State Youth Director for The General Baptist State Convention of Michigan under the leadership of his uncle and mentor, Dr. Samuel Greer, Jr.
He is currently a member of Peaceful Rest Baptist Church in Shreveport, LA under the leadership of Dr. R. Timothy Jones. Pastor Dixon currently serves as the Vice-President of Youth and Young Adults of the BM&E State Convention of Louisiana and the past Congress President of the Louisiana Progressive Missionary Baptist State Convention. He has co-edited and contributed to four books (Fix My Prayer Life, Strength and Dignity, Happy New You & No Man Left Behind) and hosts a monthly podcast (Expository Preaching: Voices in the Wilderness). Amongst his various ministry assignments, Pastor Dixon continues to educate today's youth working in the Caddo Parish Public School System at Huntington High School and serving as Assistant Varsity Boys Basketball Coach. At the heart of his vision is the use of church and school partnerships to affect spiritual and social change in communities through the Adopt-a-School Initiatives. Pastor Dixon continues to meet the needs of the community through facilitating outreach programs.
A family man above all, Pastor Dixon is married to Shameka Nicole Dixon. Together they have three wonderful children: Antonio Tremayne Dixon, Jr. (AJ), Germani Addison Elyse Dixon (Mani) and Mekhi Ashton Dixon (Khi).
